Training & Workshops

Learn, connect and build practical skills
Wara Yindi Support Services will deliver a range of small-group training programs and workshops for children, young people, adults, parents and carers throughout 2027. Our programs are practical, inclusive and designed around the needs of regional families. Groups are limited to six participants, allowing facilitators to provide individual support, create a safe learning environment and make reasonable adjustments for different communication, learning and sensory needs.
We welcome participants with different abilities, communication styles, learning needs and sensory preferences.
Before a program begins, each participant will complete an intake form so we can understand:
-
Their goals and reasons for attending
-
Communication and learning preferences
-
Disability-related access requirements
-
Sensory needs
-
Health and safety considerations
-
Emergency contact information
-
Funding and payment arrangements
-
Adjustments required for safe participation
Parents, carers or support workers may attend where this is appropriate and arranged before the program begins.
Private participants may pay for the full program, by session or through an agreed payment plan.
NDIS funding may only be used when the program:
-
Relates to the participant’s disability support needs
-
Aligns with the participant’s NDIS goals
-
Meets current NDIS funding and claiming requirements
-
Is available within the participant’s plan
-
Has been agreed through an appropriate service agreement
Participation is not automatically NDIS claimable. Wara Yindi will confirm funding arrangements before the program starts.
